This patient in her 40's came in for a consultation at Dr. Schafer's San Diego practice and shared her concerns, primarily with the excess fat on the lower part of her body. The patient had good quality skin and Dr. Schafer thought she would be an excellent candidate for his Weekend Recovery Microlipo® technique. Dr. Schafer performed liposuction to her upper abdomen, lower abdomen, waist, flanks (love handles), hips, inner & outer thighs and buttocks.
As you can see, the Weekend Recovery Microlipo® liposculpture surgery completely transformed the shape of her body. She is seen in these pictures before, and then 3 months after her liposuction surgery. Careful sculpting of the body was performed and a total of 5 liters of fat was removed. Weekend Recovery Microlipo® liposculpture uses very small instruments for precise body sculpting and contouring. Smaller incisions result in faster healing time, less patient discomfort and almost invisible scars. The procedure was performed under twilight local anesthesia.
